… Welcome to the most slippery chapter of Grain of Design.
Austria. Predominantly mountainous landscape with the Alpine range. The Alps influence not only the landscape but also the lifestyle and traditions of Austrians. Originally, we wanted a stylish moodboard with snow-capped peaks overlooking Vienna and Sacher torte. But Pagáč decided on his own version. He simply adapts to every environment – sometimes on icicles, other times under a deer in the Alps. This Pagáč can ski down even the toughest slopes… even if he has to slide on his behind! He borrowed a red jacket from an Austrian rental shop and his skis are shorter than his name. He put on his hat like a holy grail and who knows what's in that thermos.
Where a compass can't reach, Pagáč arrives. On skis. Without insurance.
In his backpack: a roll, a thermos, and courage. And on the sign by the slope:
"What I saw in the fog, I won't tell."
He found something that doesn't fit into a render.
Happiness without instructions.
Sometimes you just need to go downhill for your heart to go uphill.
"After the ride… well-deserved deer calm." 🦌✨
(As long as nobody takes his embroidered pillow.)
Pagáč Alps Edition™
"Somewhere between the steep slope and the oxygen limit, he realized he's more dough than athlete.
But his heart raced down the black run. And that's enough."
Perhaps in his ears: playlist: "Highway to Zermatt" (AC/DC organ edition)
and after dinner he'll try on a Dirndl — that will surprise even the most experienced Krampus.
