…or how we almost ended up with curtains above the windowsill, pagáč on the floor, and burčák as the dominant color element.
Moravia – land of wine, folklore, and curtains that end before the window does.
We wanted to create a subtle interior concept inspired by regional aesthetics.
We ended up with this moodboard.
1. Visual style "Pagáč-core™"
- PET bottle with burčák
- curtain above windowsill
- crispy pagáč as artifact

- vineyard as inspiration destination
2. Elements that define the style:
- Little curtain "just halfway" – let's not overdo it
- Dried plums as modular design element (careful, they slip)
- Burčák in PET bottle as color pop
- Crispy pagáč that looks like a minimalist stool
- Folk costume fragment, because the whole thing would be too much, right
- Vineyard where you go "for inspiration" and return "without a design"
3. What's next?
We considered naming the new series:
Rustic Brutalism™ or Pagáč-core™.
But in the end, we said that sometimes it's enough to just show what it looks like
when Grain of Design aesthetics meets the reality of regional revival.

We're already preparing a moodboard with Day/Night blinds, artificial orchid, and a mirror above the corner bathtub.
