Sacred Geometry of Water

Sacred Geometry of Water
Connection of space, form and the element of water

"Vena" – a sink born from layers of time.
(vena = vein, stripe, flow)

1. A shape that whispers

"Why does the sink look like an inverted obelisk?"
"Because cleanliness is not flat. It has depth."

Between obelisk and chalice, between earth and star.
"It landed. Silently. A sink made of light. And beneath it: silence that carries everything."

Role of art: Minimalist geometry transformed into everyday ritual.

2. Material with memory

Travertine was chosen deliberately.
Why?

  • beautiful living texture that excels precisely on slanted surfaces and edges,
  • sufficient strength to support such a shape (especially with structural reinforcement or hollow core),
  • touch of ancient nobility that remains contemporary.

Of course, the stone must be impregnated against water and soaps – but its soul remains.

Role of art: Material as message – time, pressure, flow, beauty.

Vena sink in bathroom - geometric shapes and travertine texture

3. Everyday as altar

And now imagine there:
– a beautiful oval soap dish made of sandstone,
– a thin bamboo toothbrush,
– a perfume bottle with glass closure…

Grain of Design Manifesto:
If it cannot be used as an altar, it is not design.

Role of art: Silence in space that gives shape to emotions.

Interior visualization: Vena sink set in bathroom with oval mirror and triangular lighting – homage to balance and elegance

Prototype note

This design was created as a conceptual study within Grain FutureLab.
