Not every idea is born to be built tomorrow.
You are looking into my sketchbook.
This is not a finished project. It is a captured thought.
It is an experiment.
It is a reflection.
It is a way of thinking.
Some ideas need time.
Some transform.
Others fall apart into small pieces and reappear in an entirely different project.
This is my sketchbook.
A place where ideas have the right to still be unfinished.
Bubble Kitchen
Design begins with a feeling.
Instead of a RAL shade, simply imagine:
"Whipped butter with a drop of honey."
That morning when you spread the first slice of bread with butter.
Morning light leaning against the table, quiet and a scent that needs no translation.
Starting Flavour
- 🧈 whipped butter
- 🍯 honey
- 🌼 vanilla
- ☁️ morning light
When Interiors Have a Taste
Have you ever tried to design a space not by ruler and colour swatch, but by touch, taste and memory?
That is how the Bubble Kitchen Island came to be – not as cold architecture, but as an organic, slightly naive and haptic object.
It is made of soft, rounded forms that invite touch.
Glossy, soft to the eye, almost liquid.
It is the centrepiece of a space around which life naturally unfolds.
The architecture here does not pretend to be strict.
It accepts the warmth of light, reflects morning rays and connects with honest pale oak and subtle LED lighting in the background.
The Transformation of an Idea: From Kitchen to Café Atmosphere
But a sketchbook has its own pace.
An idea from one page doesn't stay locked in a single shape.
What if these massive, soft bubbles move from the home into public space?
What if the island becomes a sculptural wall behind a bar in an intimate café, where the glaze catches the break of light and creates a backdrop for the daily ritual?
The idea keeps branching organically.
Touch travels into the palms – in the form of a Bubble Cup, a mug you hold in your hands whose surface is just as organic and alive as the wall behind the bar.
Filled with hot Bubble Butter Coffee, which tastes exactly the way the whole space looks.
The Last Bubble
And then comes the moment when design becomes pure experience.
Dessert.
The Last Bubble.
A delicate butter-vanilla mousse.
A liquid honey heart inside.
On the surface, a silky matte velour in the shade of freshly whipped butter.
And on top...
just a single detail.
A shard of caramelised sugar the colour of amber.
Not as decoration.
But as a moment.
When the guest taps it lightly with a spoon...
crack.
This is the process.
From the first stroke of a pencil in the sketchbook, through the search for a mood, to the sound of caramel shattering in spatial harmony.
Ideas don't have to stand in concrete and wood straight away.
Sometimes it is enough that they open a door to an entirely new way of experiencing space.
Not every design is created to be made immediately.
Some are created to find the right moment.
Open Design Partnership
Some ideas take shape in a single afternoon.
Others wait until they meet the right person.
This design is one of them.
If it has caught your attention and you see potential for further development, I would be glad to hear from you.
