…or when folklore goes a bit overboard
Slovakia – land of mountains, bryndza, shepherd's axes… and of course, Pagáč.
He returned home for a while. And decided to take it seriously.
We wanted a stylish moodboard. A gentle tribute to the landscape, flavors, and tradition.
We ended up with an overfed Pagáč, in folk costume, with an axe in hand and a belt made of mini pastries. Expression harder than žinčica after a week in the sun. And a message for everyone:
"So just go ahead and eat me."
1. Visual Style
When Pagáč travels, it's never quiet. This time he appeared as a postmodern shepherd who escaped from a gallery halfway between reality and dreams.
Behind him: sheep, wooden houses, a double bass left to fate.
On him: an expression that knows no compromise.
Maybe he's a bit too puffed up.
Maybe not.
Maybe he just absorbed everything that Slovakia is:
toughness, kindness, humor… and a bit of sour cabbage.
And maybe we too have risen a bit in these days.
Differently. Out of rhythm. At a different pace.
And that's exactly why we need Pagáč –
who still holds his shepherd's axe and acts like nothing.

2. Elements that define the style
- hat as a crown of pride
- belt made of mini pastries (!)
- bryndza in one hand, shepherd's axe in the other
- behind him a cottage with ornaments
- sheep in the pasture
- and a double bass that no longer plays, but still sounds
A quiet image of escape.
Poetry in dough.
And Pagáč, who never stopped rising – to heights where the night tram doesn't reach.
